The optical guiding technique has been used in the drill rig for laying the pipes to hit the preset target, fully meet the preset azimuth requirement accurately. The drill rig finds its usage in pipeline laying for municipal underground waterdraining pipelines, heat supply pipelines, gas supply pipelines, water supply pipelines, power supply or communication cable underground passage construction, and so on. No disruption for surface traffic and other facilities while pipeline installation with this guided auger boring drill rig. lt can also be used for pipe shed support projects of tunneling and railway bed consolidation.
